Position Overview
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and selling our freight solutions. You’ll use cold calling, networking, and prospecting techniques to build a strong sales pipeline. Success in this role means closing deals, growing your portfolio, and increasing your earning potential through commissions.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, and networking
✅ Identify potential clients, build relationships, and educate them on T-Brothers’ freight solutions
✅ Negotiate pricing and service agreements to secure long-term business partnerships
✅ Track and manage sales activities using CRM tools to ensure a strong sales pipeline
✅ Work closely with operations and account management teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
✅ Stay informed on market trends, carrier capacity, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability
What We’re Looking For
🔹 Experience:
- Logistics sales experience preferred, but we are open to training highly motivated individuals
- Experience in B2B sales, cold calling, or lead generation is a plus
🔹 Skills & Attributes:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills – you love closing deals!
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented – you thrive in a commission-based environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle objections with confidence
- Basic technology literacy (experience with CRM systems, TMS, or sales software is a plus)
- Exceptional time management and the ability to work with a sense of urgency
